Dear Readers

Dear Faithful Readers,

Thanks for tuning in! As you may have noticed, I've been on a blog break for quite some time. However, I think/hope/pray I may be back up and running soon. My Everyday Emmett life has taken a toll on me lately, sucking up every ounce of motivation to do much of anything. Writing and blogging have been no exception.

Updates - I have many! Lots of summer happenings - some fun and some not so fun. I'll probably stick with blogging about the FUN ones though. Good grief, I haven't even told you about Alaina's 1st trip to the zoo (in May!) or the fact that she's now in a big girl bed...well, kinda...that's a whole different story with a not so happy ending...yet...

Anywho, I've poured me a cup of coffee (topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon), cleared out a couple hours of my time and have strapped myself into my blogging chair (not literally, but you get the point). Other than a pee break here or there, I should be all yours for little while. Updates to come!!
