Month in Review - July

Here are a few highlights from July...

~ Trip to the Ol' Office ~

We visited Ms. Catherine, Miss Jessyca & Mr. Brit at Mama's old office.


Ms. Catherine's cell phone is super cool...



Alaina made herself right at home. After all, this is kind of like a 2nd home to her since she spent most of her gestation in this very place :)



~ Alaina's 1st Spend The Night Trip ~

Alaina spend the night with Ra-Ra & Poppy SANS PARENTALS! Yes, we left her. Overnight. But it was really ok because Ra-Ra & Poppy always take very good care of our girl. Plus we were only 20 minutes away "just in case."

Alaina had her bags packed!


She was READY for this trip! And she did just fine, so I hear. I think she woke up earlier than normal, but everyone survived the occasion :)

~ July 4th ~


Not only did we celebrate our independence on July 4, but we also celebrated my mom's _ _ birthday!


As tradition calls, my mom's side of the family gathered in Blairsville for a cookout and casual celebration of my mom's special day.



Gifts were given...


...but I bet this was gift enough :)


It was Alaina's 1st Independence Day!


...and Bella's :)


Luckily, Duncle Dan was there to protect Alaina from the beast that is Bella ;)



~ Daddy/Daughter Breakfast Date at IHOP ~

Just as sure as IHOP tables are sticky, this tradition is sure to stick. How cute are they?? :)


~ Welcome Home Party for Dan & Stevie ~

Since Dan & Stevie relocated into civilization recently, a welcome home party was in order. One of Dan's best friends, Travis, hosted the party at his home in Monroe. We cooked out, hung out and caught up with old friends. Being the serious partiers that we are, Adam & I threw in our towels around 7pm. Haha ;)

After all, we had plans to pickup a certain special someone who had been "partying" with Pops and Grandma JoJo.

~ Nate's 1st BD Party ~

Fab 4 turned 1! Nate's mama Rachael hosted a fabulous party for him, and the whole Fab 5 clan turned out to celebrate Nate's special day.


Adam said this pic looks like a shot from Babies Gone Wild, with Alaina lifting her shirt & Nate practically naked ;)


It was quite the challenge to get these 4 to line up by the window...


~ Alaina's 1st BD ~

I plan to dedicate an entire post about our Laney Bug's 1st birthday party! I just wanted to briefly mention it in my recap of the month.
