No, silly, not us (if that thought crossed your mind).
Our wonderful friends Cory & Kristin gave birth to their BEAUTIFUL baby girl this past Saturday morning around 11:30 am. Kristin was in labor for a very long time as she started contracting Friday afternoon. This is their first baby and she came over a week early. Adam & I dropped by their house yesterday evening after they got home from the hospital. We brought dinner to them and they seemed relieved to have something home-cooked to eat after two days of hospital food. They were all exhausted, including the baby, when we arrived.
Baby Hayden Lane is so little. Cory answered the door with her in his arms and she almost disappeared! She was wrapped in a pink blanket and all we could see were her little arms and head. She has a head full of dark hair, which surprised mom & dad the most. We even heard her tiny little voice. Cory took her passy out of her mouth and she did not like this at all. She barely gave out a little squeak, then the bells rang! She found it in her somewhere to belt out a high-pitched scream. We cracked up because it was so unexpected. Such a loud sound coming from such a little thing.
We are so excited for them! Adam's already talking about babysitting.
