I didn't know this until after the fact, but Adam was a witness once again to Baloo's near death experience. Sunday morning Adam was getting ready in the bathroom, showering, brushing teeth, etc. There's no telling where I was. And Baloo was hanging out in the bathroom with his daddy. Something to mention is that I hang my bra by one strap on the bathroom door handle with the other strap nearly touching the floor. Usually this is not a problem. Well, something scared Baloo in the bathroom and he panicked. When he's frightened, he runs. And I mean runs! He runs full force in a wreckless manner, with this time being no exception. He bolted toward the escape of the bathroom door. Somehow his head got caught in the bra strap, creating a noose-like effect. This freaked him out even more and he was trying to run full speed still but the strap was catching him by the neck. Adam said he turned to Baloo and was going to help him, but again Baloo tried to run away, so the force of it all caused the bra strap to whip him back like a slingshot and he hit the wall! OMG!!! How do I miss this stuff? Luckily, he escaped the booby trap unharmed.
Later in the afternoon, I let the cats outside to play in the backyard. I was studying my insurance material (drag) at our kitchen table near the sliding glass door so I could keep a half eye on them while studying. Some time passed & I heard some not-so-friendly noises and realized that there was a cat fight taking place. I slung open the door and was looking to save my babies. Around the corner flew Boo, with the huge tom cat following VERY closely! The tom cat caught up to Baloo as he was trying to run inside, and I think they had contact. It all happened so fast that I can hardly remember. Then the tom cat got scared because I was standing there and ran into the woods. 1 in, 1 to go. Where's Daisy? A few seconds later, she came around the corner with her tail in full puff mode. I think Daisy was left out of the fight. Boys only. Baloo seemed ok, just very startled. No scratches or blood. But his fur was ruffled on one side a little. I think the tom cat probably bit him or pawed at him. Geez!
Here's our brave warrior...

Also, we go to the doctor again tomorrow for an ultrasound, our first official one confirming the due date. It's set at August 19 right now, but tomorrow they will let us know if this is accurate due to the size of the baby. Can't wait!
